New Client Action Plan
We have six clear stages for every new client and they can be summarised as follows:
This is where we ask you to complete our in depth Questionnaire, Risk profiler and Client agreement before the initial meeting. This is a very important stage for you as the process will give you a clear understanding of your current family or business income and expenditure and also the opportunity to detail your existing arrangements. It is also a sign of commitment for us, that you are serious about improving your long term financial security and peace of mind. When this has been completed, we will then arrange an initial meeting at our expense and without obligation to find out more about you as a person or business owner and to find out what are your dreams and aspirations for your family or business. At the first meeting, our full financial planning service will be explained to those that are interested. After the meeting, we will write to you with an engagement letter which sets out our service offering and initial and implementation fees for the advice process. (NB for new clients wishing to use our full financial planning service, we will meet you first to explain and show you the type of plan that would be produced).
Once the engagement letter has been returned, we will then start to gather all of the relevant information about your existing financial arrangements and analyse them. We will then prepare a comprehensive report which is then presented to you at the second meeting. This part of the process can take a month to obtain the necessary detailed information from existing providers. At this second meeting, you have the opportunity to ask any questions about the report and recommendations. There is an advice fee for this activity which will depend on the complexity of the analysis and the type of report and the number of existing policies to be analysed.
At this stage, and after you have agreed to proceed with our recommendations, we will implement the strategy on your behalf. This may involve new investments or pensions portfolios, switching funds of existing arrangements, establishing trusts, estate planning, business succession planning and providing for any family or business protection needs.
This is our ongoing commitment to you. We will meet with you at least once a year to check on the progress of the implemented plan and reassess your attitude to investment risk. You can of course email or telephone us at any time during working hours with your questions.
